Day 23

The sun is out and Sergiy greeted me with a very appropriate" Today is a new day".

The engines were running the whole night. It seems that the trade wind has died down. The sun is dancing through the cabin window. It will make for a good day.

Yesterday and today differs like black and white. Yesterday I suffered severe cabin fever and today I am free again. One longest day followed by a day where you don't have enough time left in the day to look between West and East as the sun sets - which one is more beautiful? And it was the same for everybody. Goltis took out his guitar and serenaded to the fried potatoes. Andriy asked for suncream as he enjoyed the sun and Constantin is smiling again. Their medical parameters also better than two days ago - against my expectations. Goltis mentions that their bodies are now healing. I still can not grasp the concept. If your batteries are flat - how can they start to recharge by themselves? They talk about the hardest times so far. It was day 2 - 4, day 17 - 20. Different times that it was not going well. Each one suffering in his own time. Nobody mentions yesterday as a bad day. It was my bad day. Today the team feels as if the human body can be without food forever.  But...as Andriy also commented "This is how I feel today - I don't know about tomorrow".
