| Injury on board
Sergiy our cameraman had an unfortunate injury to his finger. It got
caught in the safety harness just after doing some underwater camera work. The
boat lurged the one way and he the other - hand still tied in the harness. I
was on my way to the bow when it happened and Anatoli shouted for me to come
back. I placed a few stitches and dressed the two fingers. His little finger's
nail was avulsed. It looked painful. Not a easy job to stitch a finger on a
rolling ship. He would have to get an X-ray as I suspected a fracture as well.
Change of route to the nearest hospital facility. St. Maarten.
